Interesting
i personally hate these movies. i was into cars long before fast and the furious. then this movie came out and everyone started getting into them, to the point that everyone mistakes me for a punk 18 year old who seen fast and the furious one to many times. the sad thing is, ive watched every one of them. and honestly didnt really like any of them.
fast and the furious 1 = fanboy fest with riced out civics, cavaliers, and toyota paseos, and people converting their eagle talons to an eclipse.
fast and the furious 2 = douchebags finally noticing they can rice out other mitsubishis besides the eclipse.
fast and the fucious tokyo drift = destruction of a not so well known thing. and fanboys starting to think they know everything about drifting, like a guy at my school who told me you need a front wheel drive car to drift properly, and fanboys also start to think this is a new thing even though drifting is a old as hell racing technique.
now mind you i seen fast and the furious 1 cuz i was like 10 and figured cool modded cars in a movie. i seen number 2 because my girlfreind at that time knew i was crazy about cars and baught that for me. and i watched number 3 because my brothers freind braught over a pirated copy. now i more then likely will see number 4, but i can almost guarentee you i will not be paying unless it looks amazing and there are sick cars.
i have a feeling this ones going to be about JDM cars, EG6 white civics with carbon fiber trunks and hoods ,racaro seats and red rota rims, mad tyte JDM yizzo

Actually, if the movie is being set in Brazil, they might not do a whole lot with the JDM scene. We might start see more interesting concepts...other than the usual imports. And since Vin made a cameo in the 3rd one with domestic muscle (and was all about it in the 1st one too)...it wouldnt surprise me to see if they had more cars like that in the 4th.
^^ I'd love to see a fast and furious (or any car movie) that incorporated muscle cars in racing. The Yenko Camaro and the Hemi Challenger were awesome in 2f2f, I'm just glad they didn't rice the hell out of them. I guess I'll have to resort to Two Lane Blacktop or American Graffiti if I want to see any real muscle cars though laugh.gif
I kind of like the movies. It makes me happy when I can watch them, hear what parts they put in that don't exist, watch impossible races, see lots of nice cars and other stuff. The last one made me mad quite a few times with that damn evo. Like when he's learning to drift, he hits a giant metal cage, his spoiler breaks, 2 seconds later he no longer has a broken spoiler or ANY scratches. They could at least show them like a real tuner, crying and holding the pieces of their once pristine ride, then doing whatever they can to fix it and eat ramen noodles for 2 months to save up for their next big mod... lol

With each movie, the producers seem to be learning a little more though...
1st - HORRIBLE
2nd - M'eh
3rd - Little better
4th - Possibly decent?
Guess we'll have to see.....I just wonder how many movies will have to be made before people can actually say...yeah...it was good without any BS. But then I guess if it ever got to that point...it would be more like a documentary, and not an actual movie made to entertain.

I'm sure I'll hear about the filming. The last one was set in Tokyo, but they filmed it right next to my shop in City of Industry. That scene in the parking decks is just some deserted parking lots and structures down the street from all the companies in Cali. I'm sure we'll here about another casting call. Last time they only wanted Asians, lol, obviously cause they had to make it look like Tokyo. This time they'll only want Latinos, lol... what about the whiteboys. I'll bring a FlyRyde banner and wave it from inside a big crowd, lol.
