It's a copy of a CD-ROM or a DVD rom?

I don't bother burning them, but I do, i use a program called NERO (costs money), there's other programs out there, but NERO is the best.

What I normally do is mount them as a "virtual drive" Just add an extra virtual CD-ROM to my computer. You can get a program called Daemon Tools or D-Tools which will do this.

That's the best option. Mount the drive, install, unmount the drive.

The following programs should accomplish what you need:

Nero, Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools, PowerISO

The video tributes that I create for the funeral home I work for are burned as ISO files. After I burn it, I just put the DVD back into the computer and it runs just like any other DVD.

Probably a stupid question but did you burn it onto a DVD-R?

Dont waste any dvds or cd's use a virtual cd rom drive. I love Daemon Tools, i also use power iso and magic iso. They work great. And Daemon Tools is free and works amazing

In addition to the ones mentioned, CloneCD works great too, free, small, works!
