I drive a fluggin Accent. Try finding aftermarket support for my car... Besides, I plan on saving up the money to have custom made parts made for my car, but that isn't going to happen for years. All in due time.
I understand your frustration, spend more time finding places that'll custom fabricate pieces for you and make your car, your own.

In the end...the Gen3's getting more parts and support will help us.

Once we find a company that will make parts for the gen3...we can bug the snot outta them to make the same part for the gen1 and gen2. Most mechanical parts are shared across gen1 and gen2, so if the make the part, there is a huge base of potential customers, vs the 1 year that the gen3 has been out.

In regards to looks, I still like the rounded lines of the gen1 best. (Of course, I'm a gen1 owner, so I guess I'm a tad biased there). To me the gen3's have no appeal whatsoever. They are bigger, heavier, and with only slightly more power. The back seat is still just as useless, and the blind spots on the sides are worse. When it comes time to replace my gen1...it WON'T be with a gen3.
