i dont trust autozone at all. ford ill give a shot. ive heard the v8's are much better than the v6's(consumer reports) the v8's are listed as better than avergage and i found one with low miles at a decent price. so i went for it. gl to me laugh.gif

oof ok well there's two things i have to say. one is i hate that shifter sooo much!! two is i dislike any mustangs except for the v8 cobras, saleens.

other than that, good luck with it and i hope it's a lot faster than our tibs. it's really nice that you can get a nice good reliable car so i'm happy in that department.

Well it's not my favorite car (but don't get me wrong, it's not like I am saying "it's not my favorite car" about a Chevrolet Malibu or something like that... ) but it looks good though. I still like the Tib better than that generation Mustang, but it really appears to be mint, and it should give it an edge over anything else not mint.
Good luck, and we certainly hope to have you around here... don't change us over a stang forum!

Honestly, it does not look any different than the one that came in my tib new from the factory. I hated that one too.. I had it replaced in less than a week with a nice Momo unit.

Personally, I say good for you. I always liked how Ford V8s sound, I also think that the Mustang was a better and more versitle car than the camaro and it's twins.

Have fun with it.. you better not be a stranger!

Not my favorite body style of the mustangs but still a really nice ride. I have a friend with the same style/model and it shifts really easily and very smooth.
