Pas, that's an SHO festiva. Ford decided that the brawn of the 1.3L B3 engine wasn't enough for the festiva, so they mid mounted an SHO V6 and made it RWD. I think they made like 500 of them.
Iirc jay leno has one, the fat bastard.

Close.
They only built 7 real ones (there are clones out there). They were built by a customs shop and cost close to 50K. They were called the Shogun. I would LOVE to own one!
If you have a few minutes check out this vid:

Shoguns are cool and all, but there are cheap and easy bolt-in power ups available for the festiva/aspire platform. Any B6T, BP, BP-T or B8 will bolt up to the stock tranny. Theoretically, a KL-ZE would bolt in, but it would be a very tight fit for sure.

Alternatively, you can go the other way with your modifications. Here's a hypermiler's car that gets 67+ mpg around town, without any aero modifications at all.

Ahhh. I'd love a Festiva. I have a strong nostalgia for them, it was the first car I'd ever seen being thrashed. My sister's boyfriend had a white five door, he took twelve year old me out for (what was probably only five minutes of) handbrake turns, one wheel peels, and lawn digs. The oil pressure warning light would flicker at high revs, but that car soldiered on for ever. Good, good times.

My mate finally sent me the photos from when I crashed my beta Accent. I was giving it 10/10ths around a secret track near me, and ended up braking too late for a 90 degree left hander. I hit the kerb doing about 35 mph, got air, and nosed into the opposite ditch. The crash fired the airbag and both seat belt tensioners.
And here's the initial damage:
This was like six months ago, it's all fixed now. It was just a good learning experience I guess... KEEP IT AT THE TRACK!
