How Do You Sai "hyundai"?

Hyundai America says "Hun-day" so I'll listen to them I guess.

I asked my dealer once and he said it's Hun-day

I'm suprised non of the Korean stationed guys have put up the correct pronunciation. The way I always heard a couple of our Korean speaking guys say it is pronounced is "hi YUN-di." Of course I just say Hunday. I tried saying Hi un di with no accented stress on UN or YUN if you will, just one slurred word for a bit and people were like "a what?"

yeah, I've always said hun-day

though they do say it differently in korean and in alot of the european commercials and things.

edit: just went and checked a couple european commercials and they say hi-yun-day

I used to say "hun-dye" and then I just ended up saying "hun-day"

My dad says "hun-dye"..I couldnt imagine him saying "hun-day" in his Polish accent lol

when i was younger i thought "hunday" or "Honday"was just a wierd way of pronouncing "Honda"

i always say hun day
