*yawn*. Might as well live in Arizona/Nevada/Eastern California and get REAL heat, Texas is just lukewarm.Go ahead and talk becuase you could never survive our summer.
Right...I'll put MN summers up against Texas Summers. Triple digit heat, 95+% Humidity, misquitos the size of farm animals...Sheeet, Texas aint nuthin'. poke
Combine the two extremes of heat and cold, and you've got weather. The South ain't nuthin but folks too stupid to get out of the sun. tongue.gif

LOL
Random obviously hasn't been to New Mexico yet. Hotter than hell in the summer, and nice skiing in the winter.
Hey, you should come and do a meet with me, Red, Cycoo and some others when I get back...
Nah, them Cali boys can't handle that heat, not to mention the high elevation would give Tony another reason to claim it's his turbo's fault instead of his driving skills.

Actually, I have. Try riding an unfaired, air cooled motorcycle in 120 degree heat...covered from head to toe in leather and plastic (helmet). Random obviously hasn't been to New Mexico yet. Hotter than hell in the summer....
And for those "uninformed". No you can't let the wind cool you down. With air temps at 120+ degrees...the air raises your body temp above 98.6..and HEATS you up, not cools you down...so you have to cover everything you can from the wind, and just let sweat do it's job....
BTW...Turbo's aren't really affected by altitude (at least compare to N/A vehicles). Bring it on. I'll beat you AND RED for the Red Headded stepchildren you both are. I run my car through the Mountains every couple of months. If 9000 FT doesn't bother it, your measly 5000 FT ain't gonna mean squat.

First off, I think I'm sorta turned on by the image of Tony in all leather and plastic......covered from head to toe in leather and plastic (helmet).

I was thinking of air density, but not of forced induction when I first started rambling. You are usualy a smart guy and I guess you are right. This time...
Except for the part about Red. I think his Turb would beat the hell out of yours. I'd prolly even bet 50 cents on that. ... Uhm... And he types more than you too.
sad.gif As for being a Redheaded Stepchild, what does this have to do with anything? My stepdad is my dad to me. He's the best. And to think I was going to introduce you to him when you came to the meet.

tongue.gif Oh yeah, weren't we talking about cold?
I was just out now, its 20F with a windchill, not sure what the temp is with the wind chill. But my hand stuck to the bar the metal pipe I was using on my car smile.gif

Perty damn cold here in Toronto too! Right now it's -17 WITHOUT the windchill. That will drop to around -30 and it's going to last over the next few days. My prayers are with the homeless!
Hey Frostbyte... you have XBOX live? I recognize your username from another forum. Could be a different guy though....

We should start another thread for this. I will when I get home.
