Damn, that's pretty insane.
But, that dude needs to man the f*ck up! Yes, it's a scary situation, but you need to be a man and calm the f*ck down in front of your family. His daughter is scared shitless. The last thing she needs is her father freaking out yelling "OMG!!!1!" and making her feel like they're all going to die.

Its easy to say that, but being in that situation it's a lot harder to keep your cool when the house is getting ripped up around you.
I have had my share of run ins with tornadoes. Had one strangely enough blind side me on the interstate on an otherwise fair day. It's storm was the lead to a large squall line that swept through seemingly out of no where on a brisk January morning. No severe threat was to exist and I noticed the rotation just in time to stop the car and have it pass maybe 200 yards if even that in front of my car. So close it was pushing my car all over the road and eventually of into the ditch where thankfully it got stuck rather than sucked into the vortex. I can't say I'd even be as calm as this guy in given situation.
