you mean when we ignore the fact that terrorists are attacking us and just leave it for the next president to take care of? ::cough::u.s.s.cole::cough::

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Cole_bombing

"The attack, organized and directed by Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda terrorist organization, was carried out by suicide bombers Ibrahim al-Thawr and Abdullah al-Misawa."

"Seventeen sailors were killed and 39 others were injured in the blast."

So yeah, let's allow the U.S. to continue to be attacked without doing anything about it. On 9/12/2001 everybody was all for attacking someone. Hell, while we're at it, let's put the wife of the guy who ignored it back into the White House so we can let them attack us some more without doing anything about it. fing02.gif Good job girlie

we can debate about this administration as well as clintons forever. all i have to say is both administrations are equally lopsided, the only difference is osama struck us at the right time, place. clinton let osama run last time his plotters organized the first wtc bombing. osama came back during bush's presidency because he knew to do it shortly after a new administration. now we blame bush but had it been another president the same exact stuff would have happened.

we were and still are global leaders with a big army and were not going to show we can take a hit. we didn't want anything to do with WW2, we simply ignored it until the first time we took a hit from pearl harbor and after that america was turned into a big labor camp for ultimate revenge. history repeats itself and now after wtc bush went out to seek revenge.

the only difference between ww2 and iraq is ww2 had only been going on for three years until we arrived in 1942 and ended that war in 1945. religious wars have been going on since forever. it's difficult for america to control extremists and i think this is why people are saying iraq guerella war is a failure. it's because it's slow and random, not people running into each other like in the past.

i just don't know what will happen after 2008. perhaps any president will be made to look like a fool?

Because Clinton was spineless... Seriously we were doing awesome in Somalia and then he pulled us out. Most Americans think he was doing a good job because we were not involved in any wars, etc. The thing is Al Queda and the rest of the idiots were able to use that time to build their strength. Screw Clinton, both of them...

I think we have too many military members to have a democratic majority on this site

no just too many that are in charge!!!

i will REBEL!!!!

...

you see, i dont agree with either side of the spectrum. i wish mccain would get a shot at president. he is honestly the only person that i can look at and listen to and say, "yeah...he's my president". until someone like that comes along as a presidential candidate, i just cant bring myself to pick between two people i think have both been idiots.

I think McCain will win. He's my current choice until I hear more from the candidates.

100% agree, they were plotting against us during that time. but the had huge clues that osama was potting and didn't do shit about it (heard that from a book). there are also terrorists in africa. hear of the recent air strike like two days ago? i think it was in somalia the u.s. bombed a terrorist camp or some sheit. i think heard from msnbc that osama resides in africa.

i think mccain would make a good president too. i think he'd be the one with the most military background to handle this situation and govern this country. anyways i just don't think one vote can change the electorial college. the margin would have to be at least 1000 people if it ever came narrow and i don't think that thousand live in my neighborhoods.

I'd probably agree with voting for McCain. Most of the first Presidents had military backgrounds, and they seem to have done a better job at President in hindsight (whether thats actual truth or just that things look better with time, I dunno).
