You guys, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have received all of the gifts, and my family and I are more grateful than you can imagine. The bear is beautiful, as is the lily, and the baked goods look delicious. The generosity of people is incredible especially when you consider that the only contact i've had with most of you has been through a keyboard and monitor(which I hope will change soon), and definitely helps us get through this horrible lost.

I'm not really that great with thanking people when it requires more than a "thank you", but know that this has lifted my family's spirits, and that's quite a big task considering the circumstances.

Again you guys, thank you.

Chris, we were all more than happy to do something for you and your family. We all pulled this together really fast, money collected and items shipped within a week. There were some people who did not see this thread soon enough and have contacted me wishing to do something to help. We had 26 or 27 people contribute in less than a week's time; had it gone on longer I'm certain a dozen more would have jumped in to help as well. If they would like to do something for the family, are there donations to a charity or fund they can contribute to? Or would you prefer cards for your parents? Some people are upset they missed out on this opportunity.

We're a community, we need to be there for each other. I'm amazed at everything that took place this last week, so many people wanted to help out.

oh, and Chris... after ordering the bear, I checked the transaction detail and it didn't seem to get the text for the note when I ordered the bear, but just so you know, it's from the community as well.

We wish you the best of luck in the up coming future man.

Keep in there man, my prayers are still with your family.

Hope you enjoyed the basket, it was that or fruit? What would you of picked? I'd rather of had the baked goods and that was the popular vote around here.

Yeah, I saw that you guys got the bear together as well, and we were wondering who that was from initially. Thanks.

If anyone else would like to donate money, the band boosters here at her school setup a memorial scholarship fund.

"Make a donation - Make checks payable to Thomas Stone Band Boosters and put Stephanie Weir Scholarship Fund in the memo. "

The address for Thomas Stone HS is:

3785 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601

Thanks a ton guys.

It was baked goods, and it didn't matter... either would have gotten eaten. wink1.gif
