Hey, I was home today, and I realized how I never use my right hand to drive with unless I've been driving for like 5 hours straight and my left arm is tired. It just feels awkward. Even though I have an autotragic transmission, I still drive with my left hand and keep my right on the shifter. Am I normal? tongue.gif

well ive always driven a manual, ever since i had my permit. so my natural tendency is to use my left hand to steer. i guess its just more comfortable for you to use ur left hand? perhaps you use that hand often for other things??? tongue.gif

I drive with my left hand on the wheel and my right hand on the auto shifter as well. maybe just imagining that I had a manual myself.

I use my left hand, and I always lean on the center console, usually with that hand on the shifter too. I actually made it a criteria for there to be an armrest on the right side of the driver's seat when I was car shopping.

I use my left hand while driving, right hand on the shifter. When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought it was talking about something else.

I try to drive with both hands on the wheel except when shifting. If you ever watch a race/rally driver, that's the way it is done. It gives you total control at all times. But sometimes I may only have my left hand on the wheel.
