Tractor Supply had a Winchester 18 for like $300 and something.

Personally, I may start looking into a Liberty.

If I find a good deal I'd pick up a KSG. Other than that I want any decent pump 12ga bird gun and maybe a .50 BMG. Those would round out my collection. I've already got quite a bit of overlap. Maybe a FNH Five-Seven.

The way the KSG ejects shells is a bit of an issue. For trap it can can be a literal pain and I'm not so certain I'd use it for hunting. But at 3am there is little better for ensuring the safety of ones family.

I recommend trying one before you buy it.

I really like my Mossberg Persuader 12g with pistol grip for home security. Also came with a full stock for hunting. Wish I had gone with the stainless Mariner, but they weren't easy to find back then.

KSG would be for home defense (and cool factor) only. My Stevens 320 currently fills that role just fine, but more capacity is FTW. If I get a chance I'll give one a try, I'm not in a hurry to buy or try one really though, just a "someday" thing.

Well then, a KSG and a few boxes of these and all worries eliminated:

The only thing possibly more bad ass would be a saiga12 bullpup with 30rd drum. But I understand most of those drums have feed issues. Never had a problem with 1.75" shells in the KSG.

In Texas, we frequently have "Bring your gun to work day". ISIS would have a hard time at my workplace.
