Yea I saw this too...that kind of crap just pisses me off. As if the only people down there were black and that's why the government didn't respond...I guess some people just want to keep racism alive.

Couple of things to think about here.

1. In the past week and a half, we've spent more for rebuilding New Orleans and the other areas than we have in Iraq since the war ended.

2. 9/11 had instant help to recover the 16 acres of area that were affected, and readily accessable. Katrina wiped out 95,000 Acres in several states. Keep in mind that these areas were flooded, heavily wooded, and had older and cheaper homes that fell apart and clogged up every way to get in.

3. All the airports were flooded and there was no way to land planes.

4. The Federal Government cannot go into an area in a state and authorize work or ACTIVE DUTY SOLDIERS to go into those areas without the request from the Governor of the state affected, unless that Governor is killed or the entire state government cannot be contacted. The FEDERAL Government cannot order the National Guard of that state to do anything without the state government's authorization unless it is an issue of war.

Louisiana's governor is a disgrace. NO's Mayor is a plain b****.

Yeah, I don't care much for Kanye West.

He's not only adding fuel to the same racial fire he's trying to put out, he's a hipocrit in several other ways.

Every time he opens his mouth, it's how W hates black people, how white people don't care, and how the republican's are this and that.

While the republicans in the state of Texas and surrounding areas were giving up their homes to the hurricane victims, spending their money to get them food, giving away clothes, food, and everything they had to help the hurricane victims, spending their time volunteering...what the F was Kanye West doin? Nothing but b****ing about them. He wasn't down there volunteering...the white republican bigots he b****es about were...so as far as I'm concerned, K West can just STFU and sit the F down.

K. West is an ignorant arsehole. Instead of trying using that time to help raise money, he used that time to state his own personal grievance/opinon. I CAN NOT BELIVE that the networks allowed him to perform on fundraising broadcast last night. I'm glad they booed his ass on Monday Night Football!!

Yea, the didn't boo him on stage where he peformed at, but they booed him at the stadium (whatever the Pats stadium is called) where his performance was seen through a large screen. At least that was the report that I heard.
