good info...at least if anyone is getting it knows that you will be dyno'ing in 5th gear

F'in Hyundai.... Still using GL-4 tranny oil? How about giving us a modern tranny, using modern metallurgy that can use GL-5? CHRIST!!!!

Normally, yes... 1:1 is best for dyno testing. However, with this gearing, 5th at 6,500 rpm equates to 132mph. That's a bit high on the dyno. It'd be much safer to dyno in 4th, which equates to 107mph.
