Well thats just the thing I was getting off the interstate so it was not like I was in a residential area, nor was it loud enough to hear me from that far away. I got off the interstate stoped at the stop sign and there was his lights I mean on the interstate your going 70mph so it doesnt even sound loud unless u stop moving thats why I am so mad I was not even bothering anyone.

lol i just changed my front speakers because you COULDNT hear them down the block. i get b****ed at from time to time but hell..... i love it when they hate it, thats why i turn it up. if they cant hear you then why even waste money on stereo? just keep the stock stuff?

idk but i do know that i LOVE being heard far away and people typically do know when i'm coming because they can hear the 15" going crazy. cool.gif

for those of you who say its too much........just met a guy in a GK who has an 18" sub and is doing 150dB..............concert hall in town got shut down for constantly doing over 120dB....to say his is loud is understatement.... fing02.gif

Good, I hope they get you soon too. You have no respect for laws at all, and it's assholes like you that give tuners a bad rep. Thanks prickwad. Who said they hate loud music? Maybe they love it? Doesn't matter. Like here, I may be tight with someone on the site, but if they f*** up, I'm still warning them. Laws are laws, rules are rules, break them, expect the related punishment. I listen to my music loud, but for sure not in my neighborhood. I don't speed in the area either, it's where I live. Ever hear of that old saying, don't shit where you sleep?

Surrrreeee... Not loud to you maybe, but it doesn't matter, the law is the law. And who said it had to be in a residential area? The law for the city/town you are in is effective everywhere in that town. If it's a county or state law, same same.

On top of that, when stuff gets out of hand such as loud exhausts, or loud stereos in an area, the POLICE are told to crack down harder on that specific law at that time and place. Maybe you were in the wrong place at the right time, but your music was still too loud. Don't think it was? Fine, go look up the laws there, or post the city this happened in and I'll look it up myself. Fight it in court if tyou think you were wronged, but don't get mad at the cops doing their job.

Well, maybe it wasn't your stereo that caught his attention in the first place. Maybe you were speeding at some point, or made a quick lane change. Consider yourself lucky. If they can't prove you did one thing, they'll find ANYTHING else, because either way, its costing you money.

I know that when I get pulled over and they hand me a $110 fine for having my blue lights on facing the front of the car (underglow reflects off the bumper towards the front)....I'm VERY grateful. It doesn't effect insurance AND theres a lot more they could nail me for if they looked REALLY closely, not to mention I was probably doing something stupid that caught their attention.

I know what its like to have spent a lot of money in car audio, and enjoy it when I can. I've got about $3500 sitting in my trunk....and when its cranked, its hitting around 141dB....enough that I through in earplugs when I (very rarely) enter into a competition. Do I drive around with it that loud...hell no. Not only is it screaming STEAL ME, its also a matter of respect. I really only crank it when I'm at a car show, or someone askes me how loud it goes. I turn it up, give it 30 seconds to shake the crap out of anything surrounding it, and turn it down again.

never bump in your own neighborhood that is just screaming steal me and on top of that like redz said you should shit where you sleep. BUT if you caught me just around town you would hear my bumping retarded. i love it the most when someone else with a stereo comes up to you at a light and trys to crank it, then i just go full blast... its a good life.

maybe some people in here are older then I and dont like it loud, but speaking for myself........its never loud enough.

^^ Typical conversation when I talk to older people at local cruise nights..

"Doesn't that damage your hearing?"

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

its assholes and prickwads like redz that wont let u guys have ur fun tongue.gif
no personal attacks tho, Red Z Man is fair wink1.gif (and i hope they get u soon)

im going to agree cops will be dicks about little things like loud music, yet act like its the worst thing in the world... cops arnt ONLY doing their job they may ticket u for ur seatbelt or ur led reverse lights then collect drugs and pipes from the car before they let u go! lmao.gif im sure cops break the law just as much as the avg. person if not more because they are presented with more opportunity's.

its stupid that cops dont sit around in the same spot all day and get speeders for 15-20 over, instead of waiting in a school zone for loud music ect. cause its a double penalty and its where the kids hang out

(it was worth the warning, now people know how it is over in the RD lmao.gif )
