Yeah, actually, this subforum (Off Topic) is for this, to discuss this kind of stuff, that way we will keep our main forums, the performance ones, nice, clean, interesting and loaded with useful info, which is what attracted all of us in some point to this forums.
I just wanted to point out that (and this came into my mind after re-reading my first post) I am REALLY HAPPY to be part of RDTiburon.com and I think most of the members here are really cool guys.

As far as the initial post of this thread, I don't agree. I mess around with REDZ sometimes, but it's obviously done in a joking manner, and he's one of the most easy going members here. I don't see very many personal attacks, or "your car sucks, why don't you do something to it."

I personally have the viewpoint that our forum is at the top of the Hyundai community in terms of it's members and the manner in which we deal with things. The warning system will be used as necessary, but not abusively. If you need to be warned, you will be.

I don't visit the performance subforum too often, so I can't speak for that area, but overall the forums are above par. I have been a member of HP and HA for a very long time, and some people have a serious problem with HP and the moderators found there. Comparing our problems to any other Hyundai or car related forum, I think we've got an excellent group of people here. There are some young members here that do act like even younger individuals, but you'll find that anywhere. We've experienced a huge growth here at these forums, and Java has handled it excellently. We may not be as large as HP, but Quality is better than Quantity, in my opinion. wink1.gif

Yeah dickhead i'm still arround. I was away but now i'm here. so let the fun begin. But if i remember correctly, when you sign up for this forum there is the disclamer about flames and personal attacks. I personly think some people try to regulate things to often. Some things could and should be given more leway. But something things that should be killed are allowd to live. Then again the warnings about cussing and only picking 3 words to warn over is pretty crazy. But i don't run this site and no longer have an intrest in doing so. Most likely because most members don't like my point of view and get pissed when i don't like theirs. But that's cool. But I'm arround more often then you think. I don't post because my opinions piss people off or whatever. But whatever. It's all good. I could are less. but ya'll have fun.

 

i presonaly have never noticed any flames that were serius, well once against a admin but that guys currently banned, and against me in the private moderators forum lol, but i dont think its necsary to actualy post this thread, just a good spot for hickjakers hijacked.gif (couldent find the osama hijack icon)

 

i think this thread was made due to the hamhead/cyber bickering...

us mods look for stuff like this, and weed out the problems.

everything is ok, for now.
