Internet explorer is the standard. Firefox is a noname. Microsoft sets standards in the computer industry. Firefox keeps up. People who use firefox will most likely be more passionate about it because they're the kind of people who vote for the underdog. Not to mention, most people who use IE don't really care because it works just fine under all conditions. I wish people like netscape, firefox and aol would just give up trying and that IE would make it their browser skinnable, it would fix alot of issues with people trying to be different.

If you want to think different, just get a damn macintosh! If you want to use the internet, get IE.

Its not cause I want to be different, its because I dont want popups everytime I open a new page. But firefox isnt perfect for me, its far from perfect. Ive lost all my bookmarks at least 5-6 times and like it has been said, it isnt supported by alot of sites...still better then IE tho.

I use IE because that's what was on my computer when I bought it. I don't see the point in getting another.

I like tabbed browsing, and I like browsing with no hassle. So i use Maxthon, which is a tabbed-browser running the IE engine. It's also free. It comes with a popup blocker, skinning support, web ad remover, and a lot more. It's relatively easy on ressources too.

I also use FireFox when I feel like it, and to check that it renders allright on the sites I develop. Same with Opera.

I stick with Avant Browser. I have never had any problems with anything. I run it at work and at home.

lol, noname, i like that, funny stuff. ever heard of netscape? mozilla is their open source project, it is open code, free, you can change it with extentions, etc. Mozilla makes firefox. Saying firefox is a noname is like saying the tiburon is a no name cause it's not made by GM.

Thats the reason firefox has themes, tons of extentions, works on freaking any os out there, and is more secure. microsoft only has their programmers to look through their code and find holes, mozilla has the whole world.

I agree that mozilla isn't perfect, no piece of software ever is. There are always going to be features to add and bugs to work out, but i use firefox because it doesn't have 1/4 of the amount ie does.
