Define Famous?
I suppose if they're in Wikipedia, that counts?
My dad's Godmother was Jane Russell, and her husband (obviously) was my dad's Godfather, Bob Waterfield - Hall of Fame NFL Quarterback.
They were family friends because Bob Waterfield played for my grandfather. My grandfather (John Sanders) was General Manager of two separate NFL teams in his 26 year career. My other grandfather was VP of an MLB team, from 1962-1995. Maybe not well known, but you wouldn't imagine the number of athletes I've met, ate breakfast with, and people I've seen throughout my childhood. Maybe my grandparents weren't "famous" but it sure felt like it when I was a child.
