Who's abandoning their tibs? I don't see anyone saying that.

I'll prolly pick one up, used. There's always folks buying a new car every other month.

Well not like abandoning, but pushing aside.

"Rumor is the next-gen Tiburon will be rear-wheel drive with part-time AWD, styling cues from the HCD-8 concept, the 3.3 and 3.8 Lambda V6s as engine choices, and the retractable hardtop from the Tiburon CCS as an option."

Edit: what does HCD mean anyway?

Personaly i hope it looks better than the HCD-8.
I think it would be cool if they put the new engine in the 2007 model tiburon. I would get a GK if they had the 235hp 3.3l v6 in them. the 2.7l is pathetic.

You could always twin turbo the v6. Look at all the Supras out there that go that route. Can you imagine running with those guys? Drool......

BTW, Supras come twin-turboed, and most of the time they get rid of the twin turbo and go single. wink1.gif

I could definately see me driving the car with the 3.8L. Even if its not supercharged (Might be a stretch, I dunno if they'll keep that) I love doing bolt-ons to larger displacement engines.

^^^ agreed and even if they dont have the 3.8L i can settle for the 3.3L get some suspension and bolt-ons and go autocrossing and road racing. Lets just hope it doesnt weight a whole lot.

The TT Supras did. Not all of them were twins though.

And you're right about the dropping one and routing a single turbine too. Even though twin-turbo is just insane to come out of the factory... it's still not as good as what the aftermarket offers for those cars.

If you can afford to modify them, that is. haha

I happen to think the HCD8 is very sexy as is.. not sure how you would make it more pretty other than to make it look like an RD1
