I was about to buy one before the tiburon, somehow i knew the tiburon was the winner, though had i got the eclipse my friends would have been a little jealous.

looked exactly like this one but white and different rims. it was really small on the inside... my advice to you would be not to take so much pride in your tiburon. even i admit they're not the best cars, certainly not that fast compared to other cars driven. i still love it, i just let other people find it nice for me smile.gif

Ive got a 2nd gen spyder with the 2.4sohc, thats pretty quick. It will out run my tib with nothing more then a apexi muffler on it. the 420a powered 2nd gens are supposed to get 150ish? right. Just asking cause ive got the same motor in my neon and thats faster then the tib, but again its got a bit more upgrading.

Also, My Tibby is an auto, and both the Spyder and the Neon are manuals.

think the 420a's only push the same horse. neon's are lighter than a eclipse. i thought it was a 2.4L dohc in the 2nd gen spyders?

My 97 spyder has the sohc in it. Im NOT SURE but i think the 46g4 didint start coming in them till 98 or so, dont know for sure tho since i havent realy messed with the car or done much research, only saying that because the 2 other Spyders i looked at had the same motor, and one was a 96 i think and the other im sure i remeber being a 97 like mine.
I probobl should know more about my car lol, but ive never wanted to mess with it since I pretty much like it the way it is lol. That an my dad uses it for his daily driver and i only get to see it on weekend :s
