there this guy here with a 2nd gen eclipse gs. he was over at my house last weekend, i didn't know who he was, i was making fun of his car. ofcourse he stood up for it saying it was his. but he kept telling my buddy and i, it was a fast car. we're laughing really hard on the inside. but i told him there not fast. all it has is a fart can and a intake and a ugly paint job. he says it can go to 130mph. yes ofcourse, it probably can but takes a long time.

he kept going on and on about it being a fast car. he said he wanted to race my tib but i told him he wasn't worth my time. he kept on insisting to race me but i told him i eat the turbo ones up think you still stand a chance? yes, he finally shut up.

3.0L V6. stock coil-on-plug. 165WHP vs our 2.0L 145(engine)HP. Eclipse is 700Lbs heavier. I'd maybe race manual vs automatic, but the manual vs manual stock, eclipse would probly win.

That may be, but you couldnt get the 2nd gen with the V6, that was 2000 or later model years. I was in my buddy's V6 eclipse a while back, and I wasnt all that impressed

2nd gen = 1995-1999... 200 lbs or so heavier than the Tib, longer gearing, same horsepower. You do the math.
