Destiny Of Your Tib
When I get my career started, Im going to get a new car and keep the tibby. The new car will be a daily driver, the tibby my weekend car. Hopefully my tib will last long and not give me an ass load of problems like it has in the past..cause I wont be able to put thousands into it lol.

How many 80's cars have you seen that the owner loves to death, but it's grown to be so old and decrepit
neat little thread man. you should see polish cars. they last for about 40 years if taken care of while driven through country crap roads.

well, its was kinda hard on which one to pick.. it would be between 'running it to the ground' or 'til the next badass car comes along'
agreed.

but there are situations in life that you have to give up things that you love the most

I quite literally ran mine into the ground. It was either that drainage ditch or the SUV that pulled out infront of me.
funny as hell response, sorry for the car, but glad you're alive.

I plan on having my car featured in a magazine..
that's the spirit!

i plan on getting the 08 tib if it infact comes out RWD, and just using my present tib as a weekend/track car
exactly what i'm doing. my 2009 (convertible?) IF anf only IF it's hot. will be my daily driver while i store this one in our garage in florida right next to my damn couch. by the it will have the supercharger installed.QUOTE

i always knew poles think alike! perhaps you'll have a convertible too? maybe hardtop if that happens?
Look at my signature and tell me that's gonna happen again. I love the rally car and an sooo f*cking proud that i loved my favorite car in 1996, and three years later they were in my favorite sport the WRC and looked damn good doing it. nobody can say that for a mustang or camaro.
look at the damn styling and tell me that's going to happen again. the feeling this car gave me in 1996 when i was in 6th grade elementary school was unbelievable, the styling is so muscular. plus i've been with hyundai since 1986 and all of my passions have all come together. reason i won't give mine up is because the one girl i loved in high school got to see it when i pulled up next to her at a light. that was AWESOME, she was just checking it out and i just waved her.
i love this damn thing and you only live damn once so why not just enjoy it and have fun with your passion while you're young and you can. when we leave this earth we're leaving everything behind, these tiburons sure 'aint following.
lol HKC..I want to get a Porsche Cayman..with a nurses salary Ill probably be able to afford it (i hope!). Its a nice european car and itd be the first euro car Id ever own.
And yea, cars in PL last forever..my uncle had a Skoda that was maybe 23 years old. Still running, only problems it had was starting up.

ill probably keep it for a long while. its allready paid off, and its reliable. it wont end up as a garage/summer car though. my probe does alot better of a job then the tibby for that. but i really see no chance of me getting rid of the tib for another daily driver. its slow, but it makes me pretty happy. and when the slowness bothers me, thats why i have the probe to drive smile.gif
