Well my dad yesterday was at our local hyundai dealer looking at the new elantras and gettting our 97 elantra was getting a cheak up. So my dad is nere the GKs and the dealer comes up to him so they talk and my dad say my son (me) has a 2001 tiburon and the dealer said "o thats the first year they made them"...............im not lieing thats what my dad said he said. I guess it was best i did not go with him. lol

stupid salesperson. anything to sell a GK....

 

they'll totally put the vibe off that they know what they're f***in' talking about too. so sad.....

 

Yeah, salesman know nothing. laugh.gif Well, some of them anyways. I was at the dealership the other day and he asked how many miles mine had on it. I told him and he said, 300 more miles and you can chip it! Like I'm worried about the warranty. smile.gif

 

I wouldn't buy crap from that guy.

 

the first hyundai dealer we dealt with was the one by my house (superior hyundai in fairfield) when we bought our 2000 Elantra. the guy was a complete dick after the sale. he told us every week "i'm getting your plates" and every week we didn't get them. we finally got them when my dad went in and chewed him a new one...the guy went out and got them in 2 hours. The second hyundai dealer (where we got my 01 Tib and our 03 Accent) was awesome (columbia hyundai). the guy we dealt with was amazing. he said that he wouldn't buy a hyundai made before 1994 though...he said after that they really started working on better cars.

sadly, our elantra is no more...my parents traded it in on a 2004 sunfire for my sister...god i hate that car. and now my sister wants to trick hers out...she got neons :twisted:
