Threat Con Delta sucks, especially right when they call Liberty call. It happened once when a Sailor commited suicide and wounded another MP Sailor at the gate entrance. They called Threat Con Delta for 4 hours.. there goes our liberty.

I was driving a box truck listening to howard stern.
One question for those of you that own a house.
Is your flag still flying?
Mine is.
If not, at least pay your respects and fly it on the 11th.
and its nice to see that no one has hijacked this thread with anti war, anti bush crap. 9/11 had nothin to do with that and its nice to see that everyone respects that so far.

Speaking of flags flying, make sure if you are flying a flag you are doing it respectfully.
- [*]If you are flying it 24/7 it needs to be lit up in darkness.[*] If it is raining and your flag is not an all weather flag take it down for the day.[*] If it has been bleached by the sun replace it.[*] Give your old worn or tattered flag to the local Cub Scout pack, they will properly retire it.[/list]In May my Cub Scout pack retired approximately 200 US Flags. Something that was disturbing was one of the scouts saw someone throw a flag in the trash. He went up to the guy (who is an NCO in the USAF) and asked if he could have it so he could retire it at the ceremony. The guy yelled at him and said it was improper to burn a flag.
Here is a good online resource: http://www.usflag.org/flagetiquette.html
