I think it was back in the FXtreme days, when HMAservice wasn't well know (if it even existed).
RD is the chassis code for the J2 Elantra (as we know) and the Tiburon was based off the Elantra chassis.
It's not really wrong, but technically it's not correct. However, it is the same chassis. I dunno... hehe

The chassis code is still RD...so I would vote no to a name change.

And even so, we are the consumers...we should be able to call our cars whatever we want.....

Besides RD could also stand for RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, for most of the ppl on the site i'd say thats a VERY Accurate description of what goes on here.

I posted something on this in the RDtuners section.
But yeah, I think the name should remain RD. I just sounds better.

If they wanted to change it to, I think "RC", that would sound like a RC Racer or something. Obviously, not as good as RD.

I merged both topics so that we would have only one dealing with this situation... just incase anyone wonders why the first few posts suddenly appeared (when merging topics, it puts posts in order by post time)
