Ok, so I'm torn about what to get.... I have $4000 in hand right now and I have the option of one of those wee-hicles to get listed above. I can't fully make up my mind as to what to get, so I thought I'd get a second opinion.
So, what ya think?
I'm not really lookin for a car payment right now... So, when I say the Forte Koup I mean that I will save up some more and get it later this year.

^^^Lol!! True, how true. A site for RD's and almost everyone is like "Yeah, something else!!" HAHAHA!! And I'm just as guilty for it as well!!
something w/ 4 doors, make it a sleeper and not have the coupe or sports car badge on it so insurance companies can't rape you on ridiculous fees for a car that doesnt even have 200 WHP,lol.
I want a gen coupe badly but .... I want to play , not pay.

I'd stay away from the Z, I assume you're talking Z32 and while the look gorgeous the engines are a nightmare imho. Unless you have the time to tinker daily and drop some serious cash it's not wise investment.
The 240 would be fun! And there are infinite possibilities when it comes to mods. The only draw back I see is that they are just so commonplace. Plus, are we talking the S13, S14? A syl-80 would be a fun build too.
RD2 would be a solid investment. The engines are good, the body is hot and it's distinctive. Very few around in comparison to the rest. Plus parts are well priced if you compare to other makes.
REDZ: The Soul, I looked at one of these the other day and while I'm not a fan of the body style, it's got an inane number of potential mods and runs a Hyundai Beta engine :Q
If I had 4 grand to blow on a project (emphasis important here, it would be a toy only) car I would use it as a down-payment toward this kenmari!
It's only a 2000GT with some of the GTR accents but that has the potential to be one mean machine. Plus there is not a soul around that will have one!
And if that sells under 12k it's still less than they sell on the Japanese market and this is the same engine out of 260z (base model 280 sold on the us market iirc) so engine parts will be in good supply. Downside, not an instantaneous gratification car, it will take a good amount of work, time and money.
Just my 2¢

I'd like to know what your intentions are for each car. Would you build the 240 or 300 Z?
I would personally go with the RD, but only because I'm so familiar with it that I could probably diagnose and fix anything that goes wrong with it. And I have a great source of information (webtech) and parts (members) available to me.
