Ok, this thread may or may not work out. Just trying it.

Ok, everyone list the names of people you'd buy from and the ones who you'd think you could really trust buying from just from hearing other people. Hopefully soon There'll be more replies and a person's name listed more than 5 times, thats when you know you can buy from them. This idea just might help for the future buyers who want to buy from someone but are not sure if they are trusty enough. Here's mine.

1. Phoq - Hands down one of the greatest sellers we have on this forum. I like the shirt, man!
2. Redzman - How could I leave this guy out? I have never baught from him, but if he had something that I wanted, I would buy from him without thinking twice.
3. Socks - Almost sold me his dash if typ2ac didnt call dibs on it, it would of been mine anyways.
4. Typ2Ac - The dash wasnt in the best condition that socks told me it was in before it arrived at my place, but it got here quick.
5. Ericy - Ordered the Turby spoiler from him, got it quick!!
6. Paul J. - I forgot his screen name here, but the antennas he sells are awesome! Get in in that, guys!

Vendors:
1. Midnight Wolfe - So far the only vendor who really has been on top of things around here.

DO NOT BUY FROM:
1. PhantomHP - NEVER I MEAN NEVER BUY FROM THIS PERSON UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE A LOT OF CASH.
2. Darkstar decals - It took me a while to get my plates, but never recieved my RDT decals I paid for. Even though I got 50% of my paid items in, I wouldnt recommend buying from this person.
'
That's my list. Keep it goin, guys!

Edit: MODS....if you want to move this to the Classifieds section and make it a sticky there, go right ahead. I did forget to search to see if this has already been done yet, so i'm sorry if this is a repost on somewhere else. Forgive me, Just trying to protect our valuable members.

Listing names of people you would by from is worthless. If you're going to do it only list names of people/companies you have purchased from, or else it basically just becomes a list of who people like and dont like.

I read the first post and now I feel some elaboration is in order.

REDZMAN: I've had multiple transactions with him on the internet and in person. Very professional!

Darkstar: Bad crafter, bad businessman, horrible communication. I bought 4 items from Darkstar and not a single one was correct the first time around. There were problems in the crafting of the vinyls or they were scratched and wrinkled. He's had to resend EVERY order he's shipped out to me. I'm still waiting on a new set of vinyls for the license plate.

Great thread, I've wanted to see something just like this for some time. I'm guessing it's going to be similar to an eBay rating system, I know a few other sites have "rep" or something like that for each person.
I've bought from a number of people, but also sold to a bunch as well, so I'll list both.

Sellers:
DTN - most helpful, and very quick in his work
Paul J. McCain - Quick, easy to get hold of

Buyers:
Type2ac - most patient buyer EVER! I kept getting delayed, but he wasn't concerned
Mwood - great buyer, fast transaction

I have yet to have any transactions go wrong, and I know people like RedZ and Socks are always willing to work hard to keep it that way.

As Important as it is to list the good Sellers, People that can be trusted WITHOUT QUESTION. Within a day here I could tell REDZMAN COULD BE TRUSTED. It is more important to have a way to track the bad ones.

Is there anyway to link the BAD to the users profile, so anyone can check there BEFORE they buy somthing and loose ANY money?

This should also be able to be cleaned up once the issue has been resolved. (there are always Buyers you just can not please no mater how far you go to make it right)

I think This Thread was a wonderful Idea. I myself am considering buying a few things from members here and would love a way to see if the other stuff they sold was as represented, shipped on time, exc.

avblueshark - bought an oil pan from him, and I'd buy from him again.

I can see this becoming a nuisance when it's 13 pages long and you haven't been keeping up to date on it, plus someone is bound to get into an internet bicker in here over a sale gone wrong...

On a lighter note, I have to agree with the first feedback and say Phorq is da man! His knows his t-shirts and responds to e-mails quickly. Professional over the phone and fixed problems when they arose. (btw, luke if you're reading this I will have another ERAURacing T-shirt batch by August). wink1.gif

I can only assume he would be as thorough and prudent with sales over RD as he is with cross-country T-shirt orders.

What would be nice is to get a feedback or rating system in place. just a simple positive/negative number that someone can leave feedback to. only problem is making it so only those who actually have a transaction with the person can do it.

I've been thinkiing about something similar for some time, only having a separate subforum of the Classifieds for FEEDBACK. each user gets a thread in there, and you post your feedback in their thread.

What do you guys think?

I say do it.

I feel that we need something to tell us how trusty people are with the sales and buys.
