I went to Advance Auto parts and they had alot of stuff for buy one get one free, guess what? NO LIMIT! ..You gonna have to check the news paper at Advance auto parts for all the listing.. but here are some of them:

To save money,, instead of purchasing all Hyundai geniune parts for my 90k tune up.. i bought everything that were on Rebate or Sale. Tell me if you think this is good..

1. Purolator Air filter (2.00 rebate at Pepboys)
2. Autolite Professional SPark plug wires ($4 Rebate)
3. NGK V-Power
4. Quaker stater state 12 pack (Sale+Rebate= purchased .69 a quart)
5. Advance Auto Parts oil filter(Disguised Purolater filter, buy 1 get 1 free)
6. Chevron Techron Fuel system cleaner(pepboys Buy 1 get 1 free)
7. Brake fluid buy 1 get 1 free.

I didn't even know such a store existed untill he mentioned it.

 

I got one not half a mile from my house.. very convienent. I happen to like their sales on tools and stuff.. even if only cheap stuff, you can sometimes get lucky.

 

i coulda swore this was a nationwide chain....

don't they sponsor a NASCAR race? oh well. it's not AS ricey as Auto Zone.

 

i work at advance auto parts, im the assitant managaer, and i must say, we are probably one of the best auto parts stores you will come by, i had to laugh today some kid wanted to order a turbo from a ford thunderbird and put it on his 89 accord DX with SOHC and 220 thousand miles...kids these days huh???

 

I'm gonna have to run to Advance tomorrow and buy some stuff.

anyone have opinions on Puralator oil filters? Shadohh likes 'em and uses that often. Can't beat the prices

 

I've done alot of research and alot of the cheaper oil filters are good EXCEPT FRAM (THE ORANGE CAN OF DOOM). the interior was some cardboard

Here are a list of good and cheap oil filters

1. Supertech from Walmart (Part number ST6607)- Made by Champion(same makers of Mobil 1 filters) . It has average contruction but excellent flow and filteration

2.Purolator- Average contruction, Average filteration, Average flow(do not get the more expensive PureOne model, it has excellent filteration but very restricted flow)

3. Napa (Disguised Wix filter).. heard it was very good filter

thats all i can think of now. I alwasy used Supertech.. its the cheapest and its one of the best.. only $2.07 a pop!!! but now I"m using Advance auto parts because i got 10 for the price of 5. hahahah yes!
