Default Boarder taxes

i was reading in another topic, that redz wanted to send something to canada, and mark it as a gift. At what point can u not do that. If i want something larger like and exhaust or something, could i get that marked as a gift???

I am just cheap and i dont want to pay taxes, even with the dollar up, it still is a b!tch...

yeah you can do it with pretty much anything. I usually mark the value of my packages at like $10 or $50 if its larger/heavier. Ive never had a problem, just make sure you mark it as a gift.

You can't mark packages as GIFT unless they are brandnew with a recient that the shipper has on him. This is only for UPS so I'm not certain about fedex or any other shipping company.

Yup

And make sure who ever is selling you the product agrees to put "gift" on it.
I bought a watch one time off Ebay, and forgot to ask and I got charged like $30 or so extra for taxes and crap! mad.gif

I'm pretty sure you can. I've recieved plenty of packages marked as a gift, even when thet were used with NO receipt.
