Thinking about getting one but not sure if I should get a mini one or a full size professional size. I have the room for either. Dont bars mostly have the smaller ones? Seems like you only see the big full size ones in pool halls.

 

We had a pool table for years. It was full size and wonderful. If you play in pool halls much, get whatever size they use. Otherwise, get something with a high Wife Acceptance Factor, quality slate and good felt. And don't let your friends sit on the rails.

 

My mate bought one, played fuckloads of pool for two months, then dismantled it. To this day it sits in his back shed.

 

yup we have lived in our house for about 9 years got a pool table 6 years ago for the basement, only time we play it is when we have a family get together and that rarely happens. only get one if you are really gonna use it

 

You'll use it if it's in a commonly used space. Ours was in the garage where everybody hung out anyway. If you gotta TV in the same room so your mates can come play & watch a game, much higher likelihood of continued use.
