Anyone ever been on a race boat?
Whats it like? I saw this vid of this boat doing 155 mph and I cant even begin to imagine what it must feel like to go that fast on water

My neighbors have a boat with 2 Merc outboards and Ive gone out with them and it was pretty quick. Nothing at all like in that video or what some people have on their boats but still. Wild stuff. bowdown.gif

Worked on many, ridden on a few. I always go to the poker runs around here and most of the time i'll know someone who will give me a ride....then ask me 1000 questions lol
Helped build a 31' Donzi with twin 572's with twin scroll blowers, with Merc racing SXT dry sump outdrives, test run got us 152kn. roughly 175mph
Also took part in building a 35' Formula with twin 502 mags N/A, Bravo 3XR outdrives. Got about 130kn, roughly 150mph
Yeah its an adrenaline rush to say the least, first thing i do before even getting in a boat like that is put on the ole' life jacket smile.gif
Edit* should probably tell you i used to work for Sea Ray and am a certified Mercruiser/Mercury Tech, although i now work in the automotive field
