That 918 Spyder though...
I was visiting So Cal last week and did my obligatory stop at In-N-Out. When I walk out to the parking lot I see something I've never seen before. I have to admit, were it not stitched on the seat itself I wouldn't know WTF it was.
It had Dealer tags from Georgia, and there were TWO of them. The black/white one was full racecar mode, stripped down interior - no passenger seat, dash, etc. The full white one had the OEM seats with 918 Spyder stitching and a laptop plugged up, wedged between the passenger seat and center console.
Google tells me the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder will start at $850,000, so sitting half way between two grease pits (In-N-Out and Jiffy Lube) was $1.7M+

Nope, no sound clips. Never saw who was driving it or where they went. Hung around for a few minutes "trying to find directions to my next stop" but never saw the drivers.

It's an homage to the first Porsche. Also the first hybrid ever produced:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lohner-Porsche
It uses the hybrid system developed by Williams F1 Team that helped Porsche take several endurance titles. It's not an oversized prius by any stretch, it's a fully capable race car that just happens to be street legal much like the CGT. :fanboy:
I should neg rep you for that
