I went to the Louisville auto show (in Ky) on Sat. and while I was there I came across the new 07 tiburon. This was the first time I had seen the new Tib in person. Ok, I have to admit that it looks better than the 03-06 tib. It also seemed to be alot smaller than the 03-06, but it could not compare to the RD. I think the best feature on the whole car was the head lights. My Gf loved the car( only cause it was a "new" car ) but I was still a little unsure about it. Has anyone else seen this car or know anything about it?

I like the second generation GK or facelifted GK (whatever you call it) one better personally.
In my opinion, I only like the interior (leather seats with lots of functions) of the new GK.

this topic has been discussed many times:
2007 Tiburon Discussion
i think the 07 looks like complete ****. but the new features like LED lighting and stiffer suspension/thicker sway bars adds to the fun of the next tiburon if there will be one.

I know this has been brought up before. the only reason I made this post was to add my 2 cents, but I wanted to wait until I saw the car in person before I made my final decision.

it's all good man, everyone had a similar discussion about seeing the tiburons in person on that thread too and that one is just the biggest out of them all. just thought it would be a litttle more organized.
im wondering why it only comes in that hideous redfire pearl color and not a real red. so you're considering buying one? i'd wait until the 2009 and if that's a no show then buy a used 2007. but if you need a tiburon now, you can save thousands buy getting a used 2005.

Theres no way I would consider buying one. I am more than satisfied with my 01 Tiburon. I had just seen it at the auto show and thought I would post about what I thought of it. I walked around it once or twice, looked inside (my GF had to sit in it), and decided that over all it was a pretty ugly car. The only thing that I thought was attractive about the car was the head lights. Like I said before I just wanted to see it in person before I gave my opinion.
I never liked the newer Tibs. when my car had just CAI, headers, cat, and a muffler saw an 03 Tiburon GT V6 (I know cause he was so impressed he fallowed me into a gas station) and my car had no prob. keeping up with him. Ever sense then I have made up my mind about the performance of the Gk Tibs. Untill hyundai makes a better performing car than the Rd, I wouldnt even consider getting a new one!!!
P.S. I didnt mean to sound all defensive
