Is it common to tap a fuel rail and install a fitting when running large wet shots (100 or more)? What type of fitting would you need to do this safely and what are the good spots to tap it? This is just me researching the nature of wet shot kits.

 

For our application, you tap into the fuel line with a tee. You don't want to tap into the rail.
