Does anyone know of any push button switches that can be attached to the stock steering wheel that will activate the nitrous? I still keep the arming toggle switch, but a push button would be nice to have as a secondary switch that activates it in case the toggle switch gets hit by accident.

I know it sounds ricey but im only thinking of this as a safety measure and not anything else.

Hopefully I will be fitting a nitrous kit next weekend, and everywhere I look all I can find are WOT switches but surely they can be modified to a steering wheel push button.

 

Push button switches are impractical and dangerous. You can always hook up a throttle switch to a push button and program it that way. It's a much better idea to hook up a throttle switch.

 

What about a purge kit?? I've never had one but do they operate on a push button system?

 

A purge clears the lines so you get liquid instead of less dense gas shooting into the intake. They operate on a non-safety push button.

Also the rocker safety switch is a arm/kill switch so you don't accidentally use the nitrous when you don't want to use it. The safety switch is for a throttle based system.
