Question About Nitrous
Ye same here, in VA you can't have it hooked up, or it be easily capable of being hooked up (just disconnecting the main line isn't going to cut it). Essentially, if you have it installed, its illegal. lmao.gif

I don't there is any laws against it here in N.S ., If there were, the cops would have a hard time cause every honda around here has those stupid 2$ NOS stickers from canadian tire on em lmao.gif
I did notice that, seems to be ok in Canada from what I was reading.
Didn't hear back from the state police tonight, apparently they have better things to do between 10pm and 1am. smile.gif

Most state laws only want the bottle disconnected, so you can just unscrew the main line.
Some states don't allow the transportation of nitrous at all.

dont have the bottle right out in the open and you should be fine. if its in the back seat or whatever throw a blanket over it. thats all you need to do and they wont be able to say anything. just dont actually spray on the street

I do not purge it man lol tongue.gif , my bottle lasts little over 4 minutes of use with 50 shot...
Of course I don't use it continously but when I add up together all the times of nitrous use from one bottle it gives me 4 minutes of fun. My nitrous controler has the ability to log nitrous usage time cool.gif

Sorry for the double post, had an update though. I finally heard back from the state police... good thing it wasn't urgent or anything. Anyways, from the very short email I got back it looks like it might be legal here in MI. Here's he email transcript:
Thank you for posting your question with Contact MSP. It has been forwarded to my office for a response.
question: I would like to find out if the use of Nitrous Oxide in a car is illegal here in the State of Michigan. I have searched online trying to find a relevant law, but the only ones I can find relate to it's inhalation. Obviously speeding and other traffic violations are illegal, but what I want to know is if having and using nitrous is legal or illegal providing all other laws are followed. The reason I ask is that I am considering installing a system in my car in lieu of a turbocharger because the cost/performance ratio is a lot more favorable with the nitrous oxide.
Answer: The installation is not prohibited but what you do with it may be.
Sgt. Steven Spink

Traffic Services Section, Field Support Unit
So it sounds like nitrous is legal and he's trying to warn me that speeding is, guess what, not.
