First Off, I want to make it very clear, that I am a business - I am not a RD Tiburon owner - so, making these items is very hard without a lot of expense incurred with shipping and CAD time, and of course EVERYONE that ships me an item to have something made, thinks we will sell millions of them and then thinks they are doing us a favor - so they want the item free - when in fact the RD items we have made have been dismal sellers, and for the most part are only one off items made for a few people..

Secondly, RED, you should be ashamed saying these things about me, considering you are the one with the most FREE crap in your car - besides for you, I have never made a RD Tiburon spare tire acrylic - so the actual time to lay it out and make it was just eaten... again, I am a business - do I need a 1000 dollars a week to be more responsive? NO.. but I do need some sales - My bread and Butter is the GK Tiburon, and it does make a lot of money - but I am not making one off peices for every person out there, with them expecting me to pay return shipping on thier parts and give them the custom "only for them" peice for free.

Third, The RD Gauge bezels have been a cluster screw from the begining, I spent many hours upon hours making the current set, to have only sold 5 units total since the were listed. THAT IS A LOSS - again, I am a business. Now... I DO NOT own a RD Tiburon, let alone one with a KMPH Gauge Set.. so, how you guys figure that I have wronged someone by not helping, not making or not designing one, beats the hell out of me... ANYTHING that you ship me, send me, or email me that I agree to make, I will do... but as of right now.. shifting the blame for this bezel set to me.. is just plain out of line. I agreed to make these bezels for you, but no one.. and I believe this was Sock's responsibility... has sent me anything... But... I will not and cannot afford to make custom items for ONE person.. and then charge a rate that would be considered a multi-unit run... If you think that Speedhut is going to spend 10 hours in layout, making a bezel they will probably only sell 5 of.. you are quite wrong... to my knowledge, I am the ONLY person on the planet Earth that has produced a gauge bezel for the RD Tiburon... and like i said.. 5 of you have purchased one... and there was a few freebies - so....

You guys can keep on going on.. but, you know my email.. and anyone serious about having items made, and doesn't expect them to be free - we can talk.. I love the Tiburon community, but the crap talk really just turns us off.... Someone has a spec'd out KMPH gauge bezel layout.. let see it. .I will cut it and produce it.. but the fact is, I doubt there is one.. so stop blaming me for it...

And your point? Dismal sellers now? You were going crazy at how many of the fuze box covers you sold in the first few days. Sorry man, but fact is fact, folks here see that you haven't answered any posts in your own subforums for what, over 6 months, and you expect them to spend money with you?

Nope. I gave away most of the stuff I bought, as it just didn't work how I wanted it, but was going to replace it with new stuff, but I couldn't even get my emails or posts answered either. Members of this site have been BURNT too many times to trust anyone that doesn't show up and monitor their own threads. Sorry man, but that's a fact. As for asking for anything for free, I never did, I offered you some items that would sell well, and you offered me the first one for free. I spent quite a bit of money to get you the parts to get done too if you remember Wyatt. The quality is nice,but all I have left is that fuze box cover, and the spare tire piece. I GAVE the others away.

It's a shame you didn't make the spare tire things, as the demand is high for them. I sent you pictures of mine installed several times, but never got any replies. You would have sold many of them by now, if you had answered the threads here about it. You still can, if you just post up prices, or put them on your site. Honestly, if I can't even get a hold of you, I'm hesitant in sending any business your way. You have free forums here. All you have to do is show up, promote your products, and you'll sell stuff. KJB does it, many others do, and they get sales. SFR does NOT promote anything, nor will they bother to post here, and their sales dropped to almost nothing. I never asked for a "one off" tire well cover, I asked you to put them on the site several times via email, and in your forums here. You even posted in your subforums here that you were going to sell them to others, and just needed to verify that they fit. I've verified it a few dozen times now.

It's business man, if you want it to pick up, you gotta push it some.

Speedhut already makes our gauges, and their prebuy to get new stuff made is 25 sets, so yeah, getting them made in actual stainless won't be too hard or expensive, it'll just take a couple of months to get the sales going. Actually, with KFXPerformance in the mix, it won't take long at all.

I agree, the bezels have been a serious cluster, I thought it would be easier when we started the idea.

I dont think anyone blamed you man. It was hard enough locating an original set and then trying to get them sent out or whatever just screwed us. I would absolutely LOVE a set of these in my car, but mine is KPH.

Also, I will be buying at least the fuse box cover and possibly the rear hatch part from you still. My car hasnt ran for two years now. It will be now and I will be showing it so now is when I want the parts. I have enough stuff sitting around getting dusty not being installed.

I am glad you made some stuff for us and would love to see you continue on with us. I would even like to get some of the more general items you have for sale like the mugs and shit with our style of Tiburon font on it.

I planned on buying everything you made for the RD just as soon as we got these bezels made. when we hear other people saying you don't return emails sent to you regarding parts or don't even reply to them at all what are we supposed to think man?

Update guys and girls. I just talked to Speedhut.com as I've forgotten to contact them again, and these are going into production.

They will be FLAT, and identical to the stock ones, but laser cut from brushed or polished aluminum, however you order it. There will be no GB, they will be sold either directly on Speedhut.com or through KFX Performance.

Timeline is 2 to 3 weeks, and I'll let you all know as soon as they are ready. I may just wait a week longer and get my set, to show you what they look like installed.

 

So it will match stock? Or will it be a whole new set?

They'll be identical to the OEM ones. Laser cut, and available brushed or polished aluminum sheet, and in KPH OR MPH.

Oh, they will be flat, not beveled. If you want beveled ones, we can do it later, but they'll cost about $85 for each set, and be CnC'd instead of laser cut.
