Do you need the stock front pipe (down pipe?) for this? or does it come with it?

number 2? but isn't there supposed to be a cat after that pipe. I do not know because I ripped off my stock exhaust a long time ago.

I'm definitely in, pending a few questions...

1) How thick is the pipe?

2) What is the diameter of the pipe?

3) Will this include a matching flex pipe for OUR RDs? Or will we have to have a custom flex pipe made? (Same question as DTN, but, that's called the flex pipe, not the down pipe or front pipe...)

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SOCKS @ Jan 28 2008, 01:04 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>sorry blank, but damn.. can you not even SEE.. look at how close those headers are tucked to the block.. seriously anyone with ANY perception would realize these would provide MORE room than stock from the manifold to the fans, not less. lmao.gif

and again.. your reading skillz are TEH suxors.

read this >>> HAVE been SHOWN <<< not 'we think these shall provide' and it says right in the statement ON A DYNO run..</div>

Sorry man, but just understand what the situation is before you tell someone that they cant read...If my reading skills suck your comprehension skills suck nana.gif . I said that because Bill said that he still had to dyno them and the same day he said that there's a "10hp increase" thrown up there, and I highly doubt you will get 10 horses out of these, more like an estimate thrown up to get some sales or just take up some space. Dealing with clearance, Chris said that they would be possibly be tight in a conversation I had with him about these headers. Like, I've had my heat shield off like once to look at the headers, so im not positive on the clearance but when you look at that pic and see that last tube jet out like that it worries me, especially thinking about when Chris tested these in that header vid without fans on it and there wasn't all that much room considering the size of the fans...They'll fit, I was just double checking.

Answering your question Blank_00Tib, on the vid you can see enough space for the fans, other than that if you have the stock Rad. it'll fit perfectly with the fans on becuase Chris has a KOYO Rad and it's thicker than stock. I believe it's 1 or 1.5 +- inches thicker.

We paid for a dyno test right off the bat and did realize over 10 hp and even more torque. I want to get a test with a production piece and will post dyno results when they start to arrive in about 2 weeks

Ok, so here is my understanding as most of this has been developed with my direct input

The header replaces part #1 only, The stock piece #2 hooks up directly to it. We are working towards finding out what other mods may be needed and or what other pipes we are planning to put into place.

I am also on the edge of having a complete US designed mandrel bent stainless exhaust system for under $350
