I ordered a set a few days ago.

How do I go about ensuring I get a red set?

Sorry for the delay, I have just checked tracking and the brackets have not arrived at NRG. I called UPS and they were unable to put their hand on the package. I shipped over 20 items last week and UPS picked them from my front door storage. I checked this morning and Jeremy's and NRG's package were still in the storage and have been sitting there since the start of last week. I use this storage for UPS drop offs and pickups. I personally dropped them off at the UPS store this morning and have confirmed tracking they are on their way. I am sorry for the delay, I did not go back to make sure all the packages had gone on my pickup.

Just goes to show you, if you want something done right, do it yourself. Its not your fault Bill that UPS dropped the ball. No worries here man. I am just really happy that these are getting done! As long as I get my set before the ABQ BBQ, I'll gladly wait. I'm just excited that my brackets are gonna get powder coated! Thats fantastic!

Definitely email him that info, and REDZMAN too. Nobody has time to sift through 15 pages of posts to make sure they know what color you want. I speak from experience, it'd be best to just send him that info directly since you didn't have the option to when you ordered.

I just got my Engine dampner!!! nana.gif

BUT........

I'm not sure if this is my order. I placed my order after all the bugs where worked out with the prices and being able to pick colors. So I WAS able to choose the color I wanted. I ordered a Silver Damper and got a carbon fiber one instead. Also, the directions/pictures that came with the damper is for Hondas. Doesn't really help my out there. The powder coating is a charcoal metallic, which is fine, but the finish on one of the brackets is all bubbled up and needs to be repainted.

The packaging looks very professional. Looks like a nice quality product. We'll see how it performs when my order is corrected.

Pros:

Professional look and packaging
looks and feels like a high quality part

Cons:

Wrong color engine damper
wrong directions included, pics of installed part on a TIBURON would be nice
Powder coating is sub-par and at least one of the three brackets needs re-coated

So.....I'll let Bill chime in here when he gets a chance to see how he wants to resolve these issues. Other than that, looks like a VERY quality product.

Bill, I'm also gonna send you a PM as well.

The instructions are like that, they are just general. if you want me to do some instructions, I can after i get my set of brackets. You got 3 brackets though? I think they mistakenly sent it to you, as Bill's brackets could NOT have gotten there in time, and we only have 2 brackets for our setup.

Post some pics man and I'll see what I can tell you.

You must have been shipped the wrong product my mistake considering that Bill just got the brackets sent out by ups yesterday to NRG since he had a bit of a problem with UPS and them picking up the package. There's no way that NRG got the brackets, powder coated them, and sent them out to the people who payed in less then 24 hours. Sorry man, that must be for a honda that you got in the mail.
