HIDs go for about 70 now. Silverstars die quickly, and at 35 a pair IIRC, its worth just spending a little more for the HIDs.

understandable on the costs.

But..... had you bought HIDs years ago, you probably would've saved money. I went through Silverstars and regular H7 bulbs a couple times a year. HIDs last longer, and give much more light.

Yeah, I've spent a lot on H7 bulbs. These are always going out.
