Hi, my name is Robbie.

I'm from The 'Natti.

I drive a 2001 Cobalt Blue Tiburon.

I found these forums through much, too much, late night surfing.

I've done the following mods to my car:

1. Shift knob (is this even considered a mod anymore????).
2. Rear wheel spacers (no extra studs since they are only about .200" thick w/ good Diameter-to-thread-contact-ratio).
3. In the process of front grille/emblem delete (saw a post about someone who did this! I'm stoked!).
4. Rear "Tiburon" badge delete (it was getting pretty nasty, cleans up the lines of the back end anyway).
5. Window tints (recently removed...again looking pretty nasty).

Future mods:

1. Finish front grille (when then weather turns warm again so that the bondo cures correctly).
2. Silverstar light bulbs.
3. Venom controller.
4. For the rest, let me just say that if I get this three accomplished before next summer then I'll be a happy camper.

It's good to meet you all and I hope to learn from you!

Oh, very nice. My first reply is from a Steelers Fan!

Me lifelong fan!

After "The Drive" of last year's superbowl, I whispered, "Can we talk about Hall of Fame for Big Ben?"

Welcome! Skip the silverstars and go straight to HIDs.

^ Agreed. Get 6000k or 8000k HIDs instead of Silverstars.

How long have you owned your Tib?

Last week, I just ordered a copy of the factory service manual from Helms. Coincidentally, I decided to keep my car for a while.

Anyway, how many unique cars are out there that don't cost an arm and a leg? I like to do things differently, therefore I choose to rock a Tiburon!

Robbie.

Oohhhh, costly HIDs are. I've got a house, family, regular Joe Shmoe job, so I need to be selective w/ my mods.

I'm the original owner. Bought in June, 2001. Just turned over 150K miles. Still enjoy taking care of this baby.
