thx for the greetings smile.gif

i've never been very good with my 0 to 60 times, 2.187 in the video. the .147 is the reaction time.

i've added a pic of the engine:
http://s120.photobucket.com/albums/o194/du...rrent=turbo.jpg

the engine usually runs about 250whp/250 torque at 10 psi. it was about 12 psi in the video. beta engine and transmission, gt28 turbo, 440 injectors, 3 inch exhaust, hotbits coilovers, PLX wideband.
the suspension was set up fairly hard for the dragstrip but i've just been softening it to make it a bit more comfortable for the street. the car ran flawlessly til yesterday 02.gif

thanks for the engine pics!! daaamn that is sexxxx. is this the auto-x accent from Maryland or did you do that yourself? There was one here for sale just like that but i forget if it was black or dark green.

get a fiberglass hood, and racing seats to reduce even more weight. it'll be crazy fast!

javageek, i've known about rdtibby.com from the beginning. i joined the hyundai forums about 2001 just when fxtreme was winding down. i haven't been on the hyundai sites for the last 2 years though cause of a motorcycle project (1979kz1000). everyone these days seems be converting their old UJMs into a 1960s cafe racer, so i did a harley cruiser look instead:

supercow, the car is running an SDS standalone computer. it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistle features, but it's relatively easy to program.

hyundaikit, the car isn't from maryland, but was built by JRP in quebec city. they have since closed the garage operation and the mechanics moved to www.turboexperts.com

cheers smile.gif

Nice, reminds me of my dads ol bike. His was a 79'sh Kawasaki in silver, but I remember it when it was only about 4 years old. I am really not sure on the model though.
