We all used to love it and changed our story because we learned how it was built. Poorly.

So you are rebuilding the engines and intercooling them? Thats a good start. I dont understand the meth though. We have members pushing bigger numbers than you are shooting for with pump gas. Maybe with some meth injection but thats all. And Emissions with this car shouldnt be to high of a concern. It cant pass anything anyway. No point in keeping the meth. Build the engines and run gas. Way easier and cheaper. I would put a fuel cell in the back also so its not behind the bumper.

cheaper to run gas? have you seen the fuel prices lately 4.60 a gal here. meth is 2.50 a gal.
so meth is over 2 dallors cheaper a gal but as far as the trannys i've got a good tranny guy.
as far as the emissions i don't have any thing like that here they don't even look at the car they just
give you a tag for 20 dallors. but why do you think it would not pass. no check eng. light is on and
the air to fuel is right.
but i like all the thuats maybe i can get some good ideas from y'all
and if y'all want to see under the hood before i start on it then come to ga soon because it will be changing soon!

I guess by cheaper I meant if you need to replace anything. Like these custom made injectors that he was so happy about and stuff. And the pumps and filters you will need to replace every so often. Well not to soon because the current owner JUST replaced the entire fuel system. So in that way gas would be a lot cheaper. And it would not pass because there cannot possibly be any obd systems on it. There is no CEL probably becuase the light is pulled out. There isnt any evap system and I doubt there are any cats.

Also about meth vs gasoline, you can't just look at the gallon price, any car is going to consume twice as much methanol that it would consume gasoline (stoich ratio 6.4:1 instead of 14.7:1, energy content 19.7 MJ/kg instead of 44.4 MJ/kg).

whether you bought the twin engine tib or not, you truthfully need to proof read everything you type please. I got a headache trying to find the start of a sentence and the ending of it.

sounds like this car got into the hands of a person that will possibly show the true potential of this car. good luck with the rebuild.

by the way, welcome to the site.

So what does it all need? Again, I heard through the grapevine you traded a decent Mustang for the car.

yes i traded a nice mustang for it but i have 4 more of them so its ok
but as of now i think it needs head gaskets and a new front tranny but have not looked at it that close yet and it seems to have a fuel problem too if you start both motors and hit the gas one or both will die
but i'll look at it tomorow after some well needed sleep
