wow.. the guy who was selling it acted like it was in PERFECT condition.. needing transmissions, head gaskets, and the car dying when given gas is no where NEAR perfect.

i knew that guy was a complete tool.

good luck on fixing it.

post up some good pics and list your problems in detail and im sure we will be able to help you turn that POS into what it shoulda been from the start.

well i changed the plugs and they where different the front motor had Bosch and the back was ngk its still dieing but it will take off rpms go up to about 4000 then they bog and die the front tranny is bad with new fluid. it has 2 stand alone fuel mang. systems dynojet's power commander for a motorcycle?
and 2 arowmotive 1000a's and 2 msd dig.2 talked to dynojet and they said they never made a power commander for that car it had to be for bikes. so there is a lot of work ahead.

Wow. Sounds like a huge pain in the ass. A lot of work is right. I would sell the MSD units maybe and go with two full standalones.

yeah, even if you traded a beetle for that car, still would be bad trade.

can't believe it has bike fuel management on it.. how friggin sad..

you should probably look into two MS PNP units. should be able to do everything you need that way.

at the same time, convert it back to gasoline. get it running right, then tackle the transmissions. (you can get safely 300whp out of a gas engine running intercooled turbo and wont have to worry about the effects of meth on the internals and aluminum)

misewell get the quirks figured out before you go upgrading parts/ installing new stuff.

I've often wondered if coating an engine's internals would offset the effects of methanol?
Swaintech is too porous but what about Nikasil? If I recall is that not what makes Wankels more resistant to the effects of burning hydrogen

Regardless of coating the current internals. Without even taking the head off each engine you will not know the full effects of the methanol on the head, valves, etc. Sounds like your going to need to do some detective work to correct the issue. I do hope you get the Power Commander figured out as well. Apparently they are big on the crotch rockets. Again, goodluck, your going to need it.

my biggest problem right now is the fuel. if i can get it right then we can figure the rest out fairly
easy. but what i was looking for is different and it is that. I didn't under stand the hole suntan post.
maybe I'm slow.
