i have a 1998 tiburon
it is a turbo 2.0 automatic and i think it is one of the fastest in the us
i love to drag race we have 4 cars 2 mustangs 1 bug and 1 tiburon

Welcome to the site man. You will have a lot of work ahead of you to get that car able to last. Check out the most recent thread about it and it will tell you a lot.

 

OK guys you don't have to take it easy on me it's cool but i got this car with all intension of redoing some things and i read your post about this car at first every body wanted it then one of you said no and all but 1 of you changed there story and yes the inter coolers are here and pop off valves and 8 pistons and 8 rods. it will still run on meth as far as emissions meth burns cleaner than gas. but it is still after 7 years one of the fastest tiburons in the us. that no matter what way you look at it is impressive. but yes there will be somechanges. i'm looking for 350 to 375hp out of each engine.
but i know the new guy get all the slack and thats cool.

 

Welcome to the site. I'm going to be brutally honest with you. From the rumor mill, your trading a car for car. I hope you do some supporting engine work to get your goals, because it won't be easy on two bone stock engines. But, if your going to continue to run methanol, I would hope you would atleast do pistons, headstuds, and rod bolts.

Next, your automatic transmissions won't be able to run that much power for very long, so unless your going to be doing some extensive valve, torque converter work, you'll be blowing them up. Level 10 will be your best bet, but you can also contact NGM as well since they are big in the GK world.

I hope you've read everything you can on this car and ask questions before you buy. But again, it's not my money and I only have one engine in my car, so what do I know. Goodluck new person, hopefully you won't be a big tool like the current/previous owner, Mr. Melendez.
