Howdy. Some y'all know me. Spent some time in a Hyundai dealership before moving on to greener pastures. Heard the owner was a real jerk so I thought I'd see for myself.

Ahh. . . . now I see it.

Hello my name is: Me, I tend to call my self that, rather than in the 3rd person. I find it odd to call myself by my name rather than me. But others call me Bob, aka parts guru, numbers man and all around walking sponge.

I'm from: My mother actually, but she gave birth in a barn. At least that's what they used to call the old hospital before they tore it down and built a real hospital. Been around the country, 40 states to be exact but reside here in Indiana where the taxes are low, the politics are conservative and people still work for a living and aren't looking for a handout.

I drive a plethora of vehicles, but the Accent, 00 vintage and a 4dr 5spd to boot, and the 02 Elantra that gets auto-x'd and DD are probably the one's y'all want to know about.

I found this here forum from a member complaining about the blatant disregard for free speech and dictatorial style of leadership. Thought I'd see if he was full of crap or had something here. Plus it's another Hyundai Forum, so surely there's some good people here. Not looking good so far, but time will tell.

I've done tons of things to all my vehicles over the years and really don't feel like spending all day typing them up. Let's just say that short of body work, I've probably tackled it in some form or another. Not that I haven't attempted body work, I just find it's not my forte and let the professionals do that.

I can't force myself to say that last line. . . but I hope some of y'all can learn something from me.

I'm not a fan of bodywork myself, I hate working with fiberglass, you touch it, it breaks.

The intro above is just an example, we had tons of users coming in saying stuff like...

"Now I can post", and that's it. If they share something about themselves with us, we've found they are more likely to become a part of the site and contribute to it.

As for the site, Kewlkat can suck a big broken dirty donkey dick. We are like most any other site, we have rules, and the users will follow them or they will not post. Freedom of speech is beautiful, but the internet is not a democracy. Kewlkat was told numerous times to read the full thread before he posted, and refused. He made a bunch of comments on something that was not going on, and wouldn't shut his mouth. He received 3 warnings before he was temp banned, as the site rules state, for 2 days, at 25% warning level.

When I go to EXD I follow the site rules, and if a moderator or admin tells me something, I follow what they say. It's their site, their rules, they run it how they want. Doesn't matter if what I'm saying is fact or fiction, their reasons for telling me to act in a certain way are most likely justified. Same happens here. Someone comes in spouting shit that isn't needed, or was resolved pages earlier in the same thread, they are going to be told to shut up, read the thread, and not post Off Topic again. They go ahead and do it, then that's fine, it's their decision. It's like that moron that got out of his SUV to argue with the cop and got tazed. When you are under the eyes of the authorities, right or wrong, as long as it's not illegal or dangerous, you do what they say. If not, you may get tazed.

You want some Nazi forums, I can show you some, and they ARE Hyundai sites. LOL

One of them rhymes with Few Shiberon dot calm.

One of the tenants of this site was to build one where folks can get the info they want, and not read through 15 pages of niggling bullshit to get to it, as Hyundaiaftermarket and Hyundaiperformance .com's were becoming.

It's kinda funny that the site gets praised for it's rules one day by a member, then the Nazi name gets thrown out and the constitution pulled up when they break the rules.

Wow. Just. . . . wow. I guess I got my answer, huh?

You do realize that your entire post to defend yourself came across as not only over the top, but wholey unneccessary. Not to mention a bit. . . how should I say it. . . Authoritatian I guess would be a nice way to put it.

Personally, if someone wants me to jump through hoops when I've done nothing wrong, I will fight it. It's not in my nature to lay down and be walked on. Granted, there is a time to step up and fight and a time to sit back and let it go. Being able to recognize which one is needed at what time is a sign of maturity. "Laying down the law" in a new members welcome thread isn't a good sign if you must know.

Hopefully you're just a blowhard that is more air than menace and I'll call your BS and we'll go on with life. Otherwise, I view my stay here as very short. I don't make things up, I don't lie about things to make myself feel good. If I say it happened I was there when it happened or have seen the aftermath. One thing I don't like is people that make crap up and then try to back it up with faction (that nice combination of part fact, mostly fiction that sounds good but is complete bs).

So you're either going to ban me now, or we'll have lively, spirited discussions about all things automotive (and world) related. I prefer the latter, but completely expect the former.

EDIT: I do apologize to the site owner. I understand he's a nice enough fellow.
