Tail light installation...

AHAHAHAHAHAH.....best quote ever.
yeah, you should do it. it will be your first mod, which will give you confidence and lead to many more down the road.

The only mods I want done to my car are the tail lights, the emblem (I want that damned H removed), the rims, the color the gauges glow when the lights are on, the dome light inside the car, all of the lights (low beams, high beams, and fog lights... I want them to be that obnoxious glowing color of pink or blue-ish), the license plate light in the back, and then some decal work. I like this spider thing I saw online somewhere, but I doubt I'd want to do that just yet. I have to buff out the scratches and whatever else on my car first - maybe get a whole new paint job. No body kits or new spoilers for me, lol.
I also think I'm going to have to install the tail lights. My boyfriend broke one of his hands and it's wrapped up in a stint right now. I guess I can play the "Car chick" thing and do it myself, lol.

Sealant - I didn't use any and they came out fine for well over a year now.
CF Tail Lights = Ugliest things in the world. I hope you enjoy them, but they really look pretty hideous in person.
DIY - Majik, you did a writeup, but that's not a DIY. LOL DIY's include pics.
I may just merge my pics and your writing and put it in the DIY section.

it's so easy!!! if you ever took apart a videogame controller it's just like that. just as simple too.
at first you might think you're going to ruin the controller... but when you open it up, you find out it's nothing more than some parts framed together. easiest thing in the world... like legos!
10 minutes if you know what yo are doing. 20 minutes if you don't know what you are doing. all you need is a screwdriver. period.

Redz, the lights look pretty hot to me in person. I like 'em, and it also gives my cara bit of uniqueness since any Tibs around here are stock or have them ricey looking things.
And onto the installation, my boyfriend would have done it today but by the time I got to his place, it was dark out. Seeing as how he broke his hand, he needed my help and I couldn't see a damn thing. And yes, we're one of those kinds of people that don't have a flashlight laying around. He might do it tomorrow while I work.

Lazy, lazy, lazy is what I am!
My boyfriend installed these for me on New Years Day... with one working hand (he broke his right hand so.. that sucks).

Yeah, the car's dirty. I swear, the day after I wash it, it rains and it's just all crap again.

and all it takes is 1 hand. they're very very easy to do. one hand for the screw driver. one hand for the ratchet & 10 mm socket. and one hand to push the old ones out...
easy peasy. japanesey
