^ There are no 6 speed RDs.

OT: You guys know that guy in "Prison Break"... the one that is a bit like a short Vanilla Ice that gets asked to rat out the main guy?

Well that's sorta how I picture holeshot when I'm reading his posts lmao.gif

there's a new FlyRyde Catback exhaust coming out within the next few weeks from HotShot Performance. It will probably be available to members of our site at $100 discount, making it $399 +s/h. After that will be the release of the FlyRyde Headers, also from HotShot, ranging from $400-$500 I believe (not sure). If you've got an intake, and get headers + exhaust... you'll be well on your way to a quicker Tib.

You can get front and rear strut bars, 1.8 ECU swap, 1.8 cam swap, but the cam may be more difficult to install if you aren't familiar or comfortable with getting INTO the engine.

How much money are you wanting to play with? That would determine what suggestions we give. Headers + Catback = ~$900 while the strut bars, ECU and cam could total about $300

If you want budget build up...
1. $200-$300--Get local muffler shop to do custom catback. Id recommend buyin your own muffler. MAGNAFLOW!!
2. $170 i think--OBX headers
3. $?? no idea lol--have your stock throttle body and intake manifold bored out to 58mm.
4. 1.8l cam from junkyard off of an elantra or spend $109 for a new one off kspec.com
5. work on suspension (springs, struts, sways)

If your going NA you wont see a whole lot of gain. best bet. sit on your money and piece together a turbo kit for about $2-3000. running on about 5-10lbs should get you around....180-200whp i wanna say?

REMEMBER
always post parts you want here first. chances are someone has it.

Strut bars, headers, cam sounds like a good plan I have a full catback already installed. I have about 1000 to put into my ride this year. Does anyone have these parts I can get off them. Boring I might be able to do at school, have full on tech shops and my teachers are pros. But thanks for the ideas keepm coming. Anyone in their first year of tuning a Tib...if so post pics and mods list.

Oh by the way I have a raven muffler..hehe very nice sound

majiktib were could I get strut bars, ecu and cam? Are they from another hyundai prouct or completly aftermarket? Who makes them?

Just strap on 150 shot of NAWZ!!! Welcome to the boards. But one thing to say is if your on a budget do it right dont take short cuts!!! Im redoing ALOT of stuff that I tried taking short cuts on and Im spending ALOT more money than I wouldve if I would have done it right the first time. I could have alot faster car if I would have done that.

Struts-- kspec.com front, rear, center
Ebay.com-- fronts only i think??

ECU
airborne is doing a hi cam with ecu reflash search for that

Cams
see above lol
or 1.8l cam out of an elantra AKA avante or you could get bigger/ beefer cams from kspec as well

Contact madjohn he is stationed in korea so could possibly get you deals

TIP
if you are goin to boost and are actually serious about it. save your money. or if you are impatient like me, buy suspension mods
