Hey all,
was surfing the web for after market parts and ran across u guys. So far interesting stuff here. Anyway I own an 07 Santa Fe Ltd and Azera GLS. I have made a couple of low cost mods to the Santa Fe by replacing the stock muffler with a Flow master 40 series and replaced the stock air filter and box with a cold air system. Got rid of the stock 18 inch wheels and tires which were crap (Bridgestone Dueler HT 60's) the new shoes r Perelli PZERO Nero MS 235/55/17 (these were on the Azera) wife complained that they bounced to much for her which they did. But on the Santa Fe what a difference over the Duelers as far as handling plus I didn't loose any ride quality so it was a win for me. I was a little leery going down in size since it would throw of the speedo by 4 mph faster. Can this be adjusted to read correctly? Interested in installing lowering springs, anyone have recommendation on this also looking at ways to improve performance/fuel economy without dropping a lot of cash into it. Look fwd to hearing for the Pro's on this.

As far as the lowering goes, what are your goals? Looking nice and low, handling improvement, both? Also what level of stiffness are you willing to live with?
For handling you can get front and rear sway bars from Whiteline.
You may be able to get Eibach springs through SFX Performance but you'll have to contact them because they say they're unavailable right now.
I don't think your speedo can be adjusted to read correctly without using a device to modify your VSS output signal which is more trouble than it's worth IMO. You can install a GPS speedo however if it's a major concern to you.
The CAI and exhaust are a good start for both performance and fuel economy. Is your Santa Fe the 3.8l V6? You could get some headers to further improve your power and fuel economy but it'll require a couple of high flow cats also. If it's possible I would love to hear a video of the Santa Fe with the 40 Series on it. I've had the 40 Series on several vehicles and always loved the sound.
Good luck and if you need anything else ask away!

welcome.gif to the site! I'm an old skool minitrucker so it it were up to me, I would take the Santa Fe, throw some air suspension on it, slam it to the ground with 24's, shave the door handles and all moldings/emblems, custom interior with a huge sound system, and paint it with a nice Kandy color...then call it a day! laugh.gif
Good luck though with your project! smile.gif
