I've had 2 different sets of those tails, the black chrome and the black, neither have had any problems whatsoever.
I picked up a few items yesterday for my Cardinal Red 2000 Hyundai Tiburon 2.0L 5-speed.
First Item I bought was an XTD ProLite chromoly 10.5 lbs SFI approved lightweight flywheel. From what I read it is a great buy, especially for the $179.00 shipped I paid for it.

Now I need to get the stage II clutch. Coupled with the lightweight flywheel the combo should get the power to the ground pretty well.
I also picked up this Perma-Cool 14-inch high performance electric flex fan. The thing I like best is it doesn't draw many amps for the amount of CFM's it puts out.

Mounting Area Req'd: 14" x 14" x 3-3/4"
CFM: 2,950
Motor RPM: 1,800
AMP Draw: 9.5
Fuse Size: 30 AMP

Well it is starting to take shape. I figured I'd do some more low-balling (it's sooo much fun) and ended up picking up a few more items. Nothing too exciting though.
First I picked up an XTD Stage II performance clutch and heavy duty pressure plate. I got both for $154.00 shipped. I wanted something with a lot more holding power then a stock/OEM clutch. I also didn't want the chatter in stop and go traffic that I had with the ceramic Stage III ClutchMasters clutch that I had in the Probe GT. I did still want as much bit as possible. Thus the Stage II was selected. With the heavy duty pressure plate the set-up can hold between 25-40% more then the stock pieces.

The second is a stock intake manifold. It was cheap enough ($35.00 shipped) and I figured it would be well worth it for having zero down time on either car while the intake manifolds are getting bored. It will be bored out to 65mm and cleaned up and installed on my Tib. The one that comes off my Tib will be bored out to 65mm and be installed on my wifes Tib. The one that comes off my wifes Tib will probably be sold to pay for the one I just bought. This will maximize flow once the 65mm big bore throttle body is purchased/installed. I'd like to send it out and have it extrude honed, however I doubt I will get that carried away.

Wow, good luck getting the OEM IM to 65MM, when you get that sucker off and look in there, you'll see what I'm talking about. Faith of a dragon did his by hand, talk about a TON of material to take out.
hmmm... Well thanks for the heads up. I didn't think it would be so difficult. I figured that it was just an inch or so behinf the throttle body flange that was so small. Is it small all the way down the main chamber?
It's probably a good thing I start work again on Monday because it will keep me from being on the PC and on eBay so much.
The good new is that while searching eBay today I scored a lightweight OBX aluminum power pulley kit for $173.00 shipped. This includes the crank, power steering and water pump pulleys.
The only down side to the pulley kit is you have to watch your power consumption. Stay away from the big stereos and other power hungry electronic gizmos. I do plan on installing an amp, however it will be a pretty small one anyways.

I just received a private message from LiloShark that he is going to sell his nice condition OBX 4-2-1 header & downpipe with a second 02 sensor bung welded in for OBD-II emissions compliance. His asking price was only $90.00 shipped so I sent payment immediately.
